The RISK FACTORS menu is divided into 'probable' (top box) and 'possible' (bottom box) risk factors. These refer to the risks for developing glaucoma from ocular hypertension and/or for the progression of established glaucoma. Clicking on the check box will mark the text for later printout or transfer to a text file stored on the PDA (see printing and saving instructions).
NOTE: the RISK FACTORS chosen have no effect on the IOP TARGET value or other sections of the program. These choices simply allow a printout for the chart and/or as a reference/memory jog for the eye doctor. Valid data to precisely predict the risk of hypertension becoming glaucoma or for glaucoma progression, based on the various risk factors such as listed here, have not been published (yet).
The ' Clr ' button clears all check marks from all the check boxes on this screen.
The arrow icon advances to the next screen (SCREENING form).
The home icon returns the program to the MAIN MENU (but does not delete your check marks).
Clicking on the question marks ' ? ' will display further information and references.
