3. IOP CORRECTION

iopcorrect

The IOP CORRECTION form is a calculator to 'correct' the Goldmann Applanation Tonometry (GAT) Intraocular Pressure (IOP) reading for Central Corneal Thickness (CCT). Although no particular formula or nomogram has been established as valid for this purpose, or even how to best apply the answers for treating patients, the calculated values from this nomogram (Shimmyo, Am J Oph 2003;136
) agree closely with other published conversion formulas. The GAT, CCT, and true IOP values can be saved and/or printed (see printing and saving instructions).

Clicking on any text with dotted outlines shows further help information.

Clicking on the ' OHTS risk ' button shows the risk of developing glaucoma from ocular hypertension given the GATs and CCTs (OHTS = Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study).

The arrow icon advances to the next screen (IOP TARGET form).

The home icon returns the program to the MAIN MENU.
